We’re off to a great start this summer at OMSA! Here are a few important updates and reminders for our Firebird families:
1. Thank You for Supporting Our Remediation Program
A big thank you to the families who participated in our Remediation Program. We appreciate your support in helping our students grow! Reminder: All students who need to re-test are invited back to campus on Tuesday and Wednesday of this week, even if they did not attend remediation camp. Sometimes, simply re-taking the test can result in a passing score—so attendance is highly encouraged!
2. Big School Ready Camp Begins Monday June 9th
Our Big School Ready program for rising kindergarten students kicks off Monday morning. This exciting camp runs June 9–13 and includes fun, learning-filled days designed to help our youngest Firebirds transition into kindergarten. Don’t miss the highlight: a special bus ride field trip on Friday!
3. STREAM’tastic and Indian Education Camp Launches June 16
Get ready for an exciting summer learning adventure! Our STREAM’tastic and Indian Education Camp runs from June 16–27, with no camp on June 20. Please note: These camps were by application only. Students were selected before the end of the school year. The fun wraps up with a field trip for all summer campers on June 27.
4. Report Card Pickup & Summer Office Hours
Report cards are available for pickup in the front office Monday–Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
Starting in July, our front office will be open Monday–Thursday, from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., and closed on Fridays.
