Hello Firebird Families,
I wanted to remind you that North Carolina End-of-Grade (EOG) testing will begin on Monday, May 12th. To help your child perform their best, please make sure they get a good night’s rest, eat a healthy breakfast, and arrive to school on time each testing day. It’s very important to note: once testing has begun in any classroom, late-arriving students will not be allowed to enter the room and will have to complete the test during a make-up session. Encourage your child to carefully read all instructions, answer every question, and use test-taking strategies like eliminating wrong choices and making educated guesses when unsure. Also, remind them to use all of the allotted time to check over their work and ensure they’ve answered every question thoroughly.
